This baby card was made with the Cradled in Love stamp set. This stamp set is free subject to a qualifying order of £45 during the Sale-a-bration promotion period from 4 January – 29 February 2024. I don’t often make baby cards, but it’s a useful stamp set to have. There’s always a relative or friend in the family way somewhere along the line, isn’t there?
Short cut to colouri ng
I’ve a confession to make, colouring isn’t really my thing. That’s why Stampin’ Blends are what I usually reach for rather than watercolour pencils. Only two tones – one light and one dark, easy peasy! I’ve not touched my Copics markers for yonks! Even better is that you can take an even shorter cut. If you stamp on coloured cad stock then you can get away with no colouring at all. That’s my kind of colouring!
Card details
- Card base : Basic White Thick 5 ⅞” x 8 ¼” (14.5 cm x 21 cm)
- DSP Delightfully Electic 12″ x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) : 3 ⅞” x 5 ⅝”( 9.8 cm x 14.2 cm) – cut diagonally in half – adhere to top left corner of Basic White card base..
- Cut Bubble Bath card stock with 2nd largest Deckled Rectangle
- Stamp images from Cradled with You in Crumb Cake on Bubble Bath Deckled Rectangle.
- Adhere over top of DSP with dimensionals centred on card front.
- Stamp “Welcome Little One” in bottom right corner of card base.
- Add finishing touches with Rainbow adhesive-backed dots.
