How to use Clear Reversible Stamps. Did you know that you can stamp on both sides of the Clear Reversible Stamps? You can find them as Online Exclusives in the online store. One is called Planted Paradise and the other is Sea Turtle. They are photopolymer stamps and are clear so you can easily align them whichever side you’re stamping from.
The newest addition is Planted Paradise. It’s a series of images with different plant pots, free standing, or used as hanging baskets. It also includes images of a variety of leaves you can build as succulents, or stamp them so that they cascade from the hanging basket.
For my card base, I used the mini slim size which measures 6 ½” x 6 ½” (16.5 cm x 16.5 cm) and folded in half. I stamped the largest of the plant pots in Cajun Craze and fussy cut the image. Unfortunately there are no coordinating dies to accompany this stamp set.
I stamped the succulents once in full strength, and a second time without re-inking the stamp to get a lighter shade of Garden Green.
Exposed Brick 3D embossing folder
I chose this embossing folder because I thought it would make a fitting background for a hanging basket. Remember to stamp the elements for the hanging basket in Cajun Craze before embossing it.
Mini Alphabet Dies
There are no sentiments in the Planted Paradise stamp set so this is a good opportunity to use the Mini Alphabet Dies to die cut an appropriate greeting. “Hello” is pretty generic and you can add a sentiment inside to suite the occasion when required.
Inside card
I’ve used the reverse side of the stamp in the lighter shade to show you the difference. Then I cleaned and flipped the stamp round to stamp it again in a darker colour.
Cutting guide
- Card Base : Basic White 6 ½” x 6 ½” (16.5 x 16.5 cm) folded in half.
- Mat layers #1 card front and inside card : Cajun Craze 6 ¼” x 3” (15.8 cm x 7.6 cm)
- Front of card Mat layer #2 : Beige 6 ⅛” x 2 ⅞” (15.5 cm x 7.3 cm)
- Inside card Mat layer #2 : Basic White 6 ⅛” x 2 ⅞” (15.5 cm x 7.3 cm)
- Scraps of Basic White for stamping flower pot and leaves. Fussy cut these.
