Before I share the card I made for today’s blogpost I wanted to say that it’s Remembrance Sunday today and I’d like to take a moment to remember and honour all the soldiers and men folk who lost their lives for their country….
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

Back in September and at the time of writing this, I had sworn that I wouldn’t indulge in this Dino Days set. I was really trying to be judicious about my purchases and as my grandchildren are now past the age of childish pursuits, I couldn’t justify getting this on a whim.
My upline held a Fun Day for her direct recruits, and amongst the shoe box swaps was the Dino Days Bundle.
What are shoe box swaps you ask. It need not be literally in a shoe box – just a name for a vessel containing everything you need from stamps, ink, card stock and embellishments needed to make a card that the contributor has designed. Every volunteer supplies one of these and we move from table to table to make each other’s designs – hence the word “swap”.
Well, I made the card, but botched it so when I got home I wrestled and wrestled with my conscience and lost so hence I am now the proud owner of these cute Dinos!
This card folds flat for posting but needs to be in a 6″x 6″ (15.2 cm x 15.2 cm) envelop. As there was a promotion going at the time with DSP – buy 3 get 1 free, I could afford to be generous and made an envelop to match the card too.
This is the back where you can write your message. I’ve included a cutting guide as an aide memoir for myself should I ever wish to duplicate this type of card again. I made one of these many years ago, but can’t seem to find the post anywhere! *********************************************************************************

By the way, I used the berry dies from the Cup of Cheer die set for the coconuts in the palm tree.
Here are the list of supplies I used.
