Hello again!
This is the very last of the Silhouette Scenes cards I created. Still using the See a Silhouette Scenes DSP as my card front and as you can see those splashes of colour really sets off the silhouette of the little boy and his toy aeroplane well. By the way, the Pigment Sprinkles – Item Code 149663 has now had the green light from German Customs and are available for sale in our online store. I’ve provided a link at the bottom of my post. I stamped the silhouette of the boy in versamark directly on to the See a Silhouette Scenes DSP using a Stamparatus to ensure stamping repeatedly in the same spot and embossed it with clear embossing powder. I die cut this with the largest Stitched Rectangle. It only cut on three sides as the paper was narrower than the die. With a bit of jiggery pokery and washi tape, I got the die to embed the fourth stitched side. If you have some Multi Purpose Adhesive sheets (retired) you can adhere this to the back of Night of Navy card stock before die cutting the lettering and Dandelion, otherwise you’ll have to do it the “sticky” way! To “ground” the boy, I scribbled some horizontal lines to where he was standing, and added some Woven Threads Sequin Assortment on top.
I adhered the die cut dandelion to the inside and added some sequins too.
Out of all four cards, which was your favourite? I found it really hard to choose as I liked them all!
To summarise, you can see that by using a variety of water colouring techniques or different embossing powders and/or dies, you can create different effects. I hope you’ve enjoyed this series as much as I have. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
