Oh my gosh – is it the end of the week already? Time is just going by too fast! So much to do and not enough time – same old, same old bla-de-bla! Anyhow, just wanted to share these before it became REALLY old news! These were the “Thank you” cards I made for visitors allocated to me at the Sandown Park “Stitch & Creative Crafts Show” which I took part in a couple of weeks ago. I think it’s probably safe now for me to post this as I’m sure they must have received them by now. It was not only to thank them for taking part, but to inform them of who had won. So congratulations are in order to Maria from Staines!
Now for the card. My card base was in Midnight Muse. The top layer was cut in Summer Starfruit with the Oval Accents Bigz Die (page 92) which is a clear die with a finger hole in the centre so that you can see what you’re cutting, and once your material is cut, you pop it out through the finger hole.
I stamped directly on to the Summer Starfruit layer in Midnight Muse ink, stamped the bird from Betsy’s Blossoms in Baja Breeze on Whisper White cardstock then cut that out by hand. This was then adhered with dimensionals (Stampin’ Up! speak for foam pads) as pictured. The leaves were cut with the Little Leaves sizzlit die (page 191) in Gumball Green, the “thank you” from “Itty Bitty Banners on page 134. This banner set has coordinating dies to cut them out with. Heartfelt is from Layered Labels. As a finishing touch, three little pearls were adhered in the bottom right corner.
I hope they liked them.
