Tiananmen Square

This is so exciting! My son sent me these pictures this morning, hot off the press – I’m green with envy. He’s in Beijing at the moment with my grandson who at the ripe old age of 10, is on his first trip abroad. What an “exotic” location for a first timer! My grandson looks like the cat’s whiskers here! My children were born in Hong Kong, and we were based there for several years, before China opened up but we never visited whilst it was on our doorstep. Now it’s going to cost an arm and a leg to travel there! I’m excited for them, so just had to share! Needless to say, we’re house-sitting! Mum and Dad still have their uses long after the kids have flown the coup! lol
