This has to be the most unusual die offering during Sale-a-bration! A circular die with a floral silhouette in the bottom half!
It certainly gets your creative juices running! I chose a Granny Apple Green front – the die is fairly large. Being a circle, it made sense to make the card square, so the die cut layer was cut at 4-3/4″ square to fit a card that was 5″ square. Fluid 100 water colour paper also cut at 4-3/4″ square to layer behind the die cut aperture, so I could give it the “sprinkles” treatment to create the effect you see below.
I also used Wink of Stella, to give the background a speckled look, and you can achieve the same effect by tapping the aqua painter brush over the water colour washed paper too.
The flowers were die cut using Petal Pink, Terracotta Tile and Crushed curry and I just mix and matched the flower centres with contrasting ones as shown above.
