Mothering Sunday

My aged Mum  is in her 80s (she probably won’t thank for mentioning her illustrious age!) and has gone globetrotting again!   (She’d recently toured Russia then Ireland and came to visit with me here in the UK at the end of last year before returning to Australia via Singapore  and was away from home for almost 3 months!)  It amazes me […]

St Patrick’s Day

It is unusual for me to post anything on St Patrick’s, let alone remember St Patrick’s Day or which day it happens to fall on.  I came upon it merely by accident.  This year”s Sprinkled Expressions stamp set give-away for Sale-a-bration happened to have a heart with sprinkled flowers in it.   It lends itself to being stamped four […]

Chocolate box Love

I’ve used the Sale-a-bration Outlined Expressions set for this card.  The punched out heart centre with the Cherry Cobbler ruching round the edge reminds me of a box of chocolates!  This would make a great anniversary card. There’s very little stamping on this card – mostly punching to decorate the inside.  Here’s the recipe: Stamps:  […]

A Mood Swing Card!

Here’s history repeating itself – I’m updating the swing card I made here back in 2009 for Father’s Day.  This is a much more feminine version with one of my favourite In Colors – Pool Party. The Fresh Vintage Stamp Set being given away FREE from Stampin’ Up! with each £45 spend excluding shipping.  I call it […]

Wedding Theme for Scrapbooking

As promised, here is the reveal of the rest of the  sneak peek posted last Saturday.  I have a confession to make.  This is my first foray into a new arena – running classes for Scrapbooking and this was the theme for my first ever class based on a Wedding theme.   Each month we do one double page spread […]

Envelope and Card in One

Did you have a good weekend?  I’m pleased to report I had a bit of time to have a little play so here it is! Up till now, I have been very careful about how much Everyday Enchantment DSP I use – as once it’s gone it’s gone.    These papers are only available for a […]

Top Note re-sized!

It intrigued me to see if I could make the Top Note work the same way as the flurry of samples using Stampin’ Up!’s  new thin dies across the pond.  They haven’t reached our market yet, but here’s hoping.  Through trial and error I finally came up with this.  The card base folded in half, and […]

Sneak Peek

Just a quicky post – some ladies are arriving this morning for classes and this is just a sneak peek of what some of them will be doing.  I don’t want to spoil the surprise, so this is just a teeny portion of the bigger picture – that’s just in case they log on and […]
