Gift tag – Paper tags bundle. The Paper Tags bundle is another Online Exclusive introduced in May 2025. Tags are an essential part of gift packaging and I love the design of the ones in the Paper Tags bundle. They remind me of the chalk board technique – and the dies are great too. Best of all, there’s a tiny banner die. Often times I need a banner for a single word so this is just perfect!

I had some wafer biscuits I wanted to package. It’s all about the tag, really, but I guess you’d like the measurements of the box too.

Gift packaging with a difference!

What’s different about this gift package is that the ribbon and bow is an integral part of the lid. I’m always hesitant about undoing a beautiful bow on a gift because it looks so pretty and then if you want to close the box again, trying to get it look just as pretty as it did when you received it!

Measurements for the box and lid

1. Box base Secret Sea (new 2025-2027 In Color™) cut at 8 ¼”x 5 ⅝” (21 cm x 14.3 cm)
2. Score all 4 sides of box base at 1 ⅝” (4.1 cm)
3. Cut tabs as pictured and assemble box.
4. Cloud Cover Lid cut at 7 ¾” x 5″ (19.7 cm x 12.7 cm)
5. Score all 4 sides of lid at 1 ¼” (3.2 cm) and cut tabs as pictured for box base.
6. Attach ribbon to box lid (no precise measurements – I just cut lengths with extra to go underneath box lid insert.
7. Secret Sea Box Lid insert cut at 5 ⅛” x 2-7/16″ (13 cm x 6.2 cm)

Paper Tag

Simply stamp the tag image on a scrap of Cloud Cover and die cut with this special paper tag die. You can see that there is a centre slot and a heart shape aperture which allows you to slip the tag over the bow. So pretty – Voilà it’s done! So quick and easy.
