Florals in Bloom Suite

Back to the card. Pretty Florals is one of the bundles in the Florals in Bloom Suite Collection on pages 40-47 of the new Annual Catalogue May 2025 – April 2026. I chose this suite because it is the one featured on the front cover.

Pretty Florals stamp set does not carry any sentiments, but its “partner” Sweet Blooms” does and both these bundles are in the Suite. The catalogue is such a great source of inspiration. You can use the samples as a spring board to create your own, or take elements of it for your project or CASE it (copy and share everything).

Here’s my card. I used both bundles.

How to make the card

  1. Card base : Sweet Petunia 11 ½” x 4 ⅛” (29 cm x 10.5 cm). On the long side score at 5 ¾” (14.5 cm)
  2. Stamp the splatters from the Elements of Text stamp set in Petunia Pop on the card front in the top right and bottom left corners.
  3. Cut Shy Shamrock strip 2 ¼” x 5 ¾” (5.7 cm x 14.5 cm). Adhere in centre of card front as pictured above.
  4. Next adhere DSP cut at 2″ (5 cm) leaving an even border top and bottom as shown.
  5. On a scrap of Basic White card stock stamp floral elements i.e., 3 in Secret Sea, and 3 in Petunia Pop. The stamps are a two-step stamping method. For the Secret Sea flowers, stamp off twice before stamping on project for the lighter colour. Only stamp off once for the Petunia Pop flowers.
  6. Stamp 3 stems in Garden Green and on Basic White card stock and die cut 3 stems in Garden Green card stock for the Petunia Pop flowers.
  7. Adhere the flower heads to their respective stems then arrange and adhere them on the DSP strip with dimensionals.
  8. Cut a 1″ x 5 ¾” Bubble Bath strip and adhere each end with adhesive. If necessary, untuck the flowers and/or leaves to make them look more natural.

Finishing touches

  1. Use a scrap of Petunia Pop and die cut the shadow Lovely script die.
  2. Apply adhesive sheet on the back of a scrap of Bubble Bath card stock and die cut the inside of the Lovely script letter. Adhere it on top of the Petunia Pop shadow letter.
  3. Stamp “hello” in Petunia Pop on Basic White card stock and fussy cut then adhere to card front as shown.
  4. Apply dimensionals to the back of the “Lovely” word and adhere on top of Bubble Bath strip.
  5. Lastly add the 2025-2027 In Color ™ flat pearls.
