Bookmarks with Owl Punch

These are a couple of bookmarks  made with paper clips using the two-step owl punch which I taught at my Owl Punch Art class.  The picture is deceptive, the hippo used a jumbo clip and is much larger, and the little girl is a standard sized paper clip.

I am told that the face of the hippo looks like a Moomin character!

I’m still recovering from a mammoth stint trying to sort out some issues on Blogger that I had on Thursday night well into the wee hours of the morning!   I kept on getting an error message and just basically couldn’t log on to my blog to do anything.  I finally gave up and went to bed in sheer frustration and just as I got into bed, I picked up my laptop (by bedside – sad aren’t I) for one last ditch attempt and found I could access it from lap top with no probs.  Hey ho, so guess what muggins did.  Instead of calling it a day, I just had to then upload the tutorial and card my club ladies did and I didn’t actually put head on pillow till after 4 a.m.!

I was a wreck on Friday, DH up in Derby at crack of dawn and eventually I just schlepped  (word?) around the house.  Best thing though,  I got to speak to Mum on skype and she’s coming to visit later in the year  after a package holiday to Russia,  the Baltics and then to Blighty to visit me.  Hooray!  So the rest of Friday I was trying to sort out the bugs on the desktop – got McAfee to do a full computer scan which took 5 hours (eek!) and eventually learnt how to clear the cache and finally fixed it.  I am “forumed” and “googled” out!  Not a great way to spend a day off is it?

That’s all for today.  Have a great weekend folks.
