Sail Away, Something to Celebrate

This is the technique I taught my club ladies this month, a partially embossed image using the Vintage Embossing Folder.  Scroll down after this post for the tutorial  as promised which has also been uploaded on to my website and can be found here I made a wedding card using this technique which can be viewed here in an earlier post.

The base card was in Night of Navy, with a Cherry Cobbler mat.  I used Whisper White for embossing with and stamped the Sail Away image which is a single stamp (now available in the Mini Catalogue) in black Stazon ink.

I cut a cloud shape from a post-it note and masked randomly, sponging with Bashful Blue, and the sea was done in Marina Mist.  The embossed area was sponged in Cherry Cobbler and the sentiment is from the new Hostess Level 2 set in the mini.
