Mixed Bunch Class

These are the cards we made in my Mixed Bunch Class back in June.  Sorry it’s taken me so long to post.   The flower was embossed in white on card stock vellum and two petals were cut to form this butterfly. The Whisper White card base was attached to a Pretty in Pink scalloped square base.

I seem to have forgotten to include this one – we made 6 cards in all so I’ve inserted it here.  We cut through the petals to make it more fluffy and the lace border punch was just sponged on the edges to contrast against the plain white background.

We used the Adorning Accents edgelits to cut the So Saffron strip, but instead of discarding the other portion, we used it as a decorative detail on the other side of the Bashful Blue piece of cardstock.

We punched squares of Bold Brights DSP and rounded the opposite corners and matted it onto Pretty in Pink for the background.   For the flower centre, we tied two lengths of Rich Razzleberry and Pretty in Pink ribbon together to add a bit of interest.

The card base is Perfect Plum and the accent colour Blushing Bride.  We used the round tab punch to create the body and dropped waist, then punched a flower, folded  in half to create the skirt layers.

For this final card, we stamped in Whisper White craft ink straight onto Basic Gray cardstock.  To create the shadow, I followed the flower outlines with a versamark pen and overlaid with a double punched flower, one in Pink Pirouette, and the other stamped with Pink Pirouette on Whisper White card stock.  The sentiment was also stamped in Pink Pirouette.

Some of you may have seen this card already as I mass produced a whole bunch of them for my team swaps.
