Thanksgiving card – Heartfelt wishes

Today I’m sharing a thanksgiving card from Heartfelt Wishes. Happy Sunday! I can’t believe we’re coming to the end of November already and the heating is back on!

Thanksgiving Day is just days away. I dug out my blending brushes to create the background going from light to dark to light in So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie and Pool Party.

Inspiring Canopy Dies

These dies are brilliant for depicting different seasons and also great for masculine cards too. This time I used the leaf cluster dies and die cut 4 sets of leaves from the Beauty of the Earth DSP . The pattern I used reflect all the colours of autumn.

Additional Stamps

I used the falling leaves stamp from Welcoming Woods. The way the stamp is designed, I was able to stamp a single leaf at a time so I could stamp them in different colours. These are Pumpkin Pie, Merry Merlot, and Old Olive.

For the sentiment, I used Heartfelt Wishes. The font is beautiful and I stamped that in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and then fussy cut it so that it wouldn’t obliterate the background. You can see another card HERE using that same font.

Finishing Touches

There was such a mixture of colours, I thought it would be good to use the Holiday Rhinestones, so in fact, it also compliments the background rather than making it pop.
