Sweet Treats for Tech 4 Stampers blog hop is the theme for March. With Easter approaching I thought it would be a good idea to make up some sweet treats.
The Tech 4 Stampers is a monthly subscription group run by Louise Sims. She mentors and enables members to understand IT jargon and equips them with a fountain of Technical knowledge to build or manage their own websites. It takes the mystery out of “tech” and I’ve certainly grown in confidence thanks to her expertise, patience and guidance. Not only that, I’ve met and made new friends with my fellow “Techs” and love the camaraderie within the group.
There’s such a lot of packaging Stampin’ Up! has on offer and I chose the Sweet Little Boxes which you can find featured on page 9 of the January-June 2022 Mini catalogue. They are part of the Sweet Talk Suite. I made one up holding miniature Valentine notes in the box instead of sweets which you can see HERE.
The boxes come in packs of 10 and are packaged flat. If you wish to cut an aperture for a window, you can do so before you assemble the box. Just remember to cut the aperture together with the DSP so that they are both aligned when you wrap it round the box. My boxes are usually bespoke according to what I put in them, so I was delighted that the mini easter egg chocolates can fit into these dinky little boxes.
You also need a window sheet on the inside of the box. The size of the window sheet will vary according to the size of the die you use to cut your aperture.
The “happy easter” sentiment was too long for my tag so I cut them up and staggered them!

What a lovely idea for Easter treats. Thanks for sharing
Thank you Sue, I made it by the skin of my teeth!
This is adorable! I love the window in the box and the super cute chick.
Thanks Michele, I needed something quick – took me longer to try where I’d stored the boxes!
Such a cute little box. They are brilliant for a little teat
Thanks Helen, always handy to have ready made boxes if you’re strapped for time!
This is so cute! Love the little chick xx
Thanks Leighsa, the box is small so the little chick was the best fit! Love the rabbit, but he was too big!
This is a fabulous project Elaine, off to get me some eggs soon, but there’s too much time before now and Easter for me to eat them!
I ate the ones that didn’t fit in the box! Oops! lol!
That is a wonderful project and so sweet. I love the DSP you choose.
Thanks June. The SAB daffodil papers would’ve been perfect but because SAB’s over, I had to find an alternative! The box being small, I couldn’t choose something with a big pattern, so the reverse of Flowering Fields was just the ticket!
