Day at the Farm Series – Pt 2 of 4

This is my Day at the Farm Series – part 2 of 4 to illustrate how you can use the papers without having to use the coordinating bundle. These papers are currently free during Sale-a-bration which launched on 5 January and will end on 28 February 2023.

In part 2 I have used the Something Fancy Bundle on page 17 of the January-April 2023 Mini. This bundle is part of the Fancy Flora Suite and I chose this bundle because of the fantastic selection of sentiments and variety of shapes in the label dies. This card is an off set gatefold and I’ve used magnets hidden underneath the layers and labels to keep it closed. You just need to remember to attach the magnets before you adhere the layers! Ask me how I know! lol!

I loved this sentiment in the set because there are occasions when we do miss a birthday and if you send a belated one, this is a sweet way of doing it!

Here’s the inside, no stamping – I simply adhered a strip of the same pattern of paper as for the card front so that it would tie it in.

Cutting guide

1. Card base : Sahara Sand 4 ⅛” x 11 ¾” (10.5 x 30 cm). Long side score at 3 ¾” (9.5 cm). Burnish then bring the opposite edge to meet the burnished and folded 3 ¾” panel in order to eliminate any gaps for the off centre gatefold.
2. Left hand panel card front: cut DSP 3 ½” x 3 ¾” (9 cm x 9.5 cm)
3. Right hand panel card front : cut Cherry Cobbler 1 ⅝” x 3 ¾” (4 cm x 9.5 cm)
4. Layer 2 right hand panel card front : reverse of DSP 1 ½” x 3 ⅝” (3.5 cm x 9 cm)
5. Inside card layer 1 Cherry Cobbler : 3 ¾” x 5 ½” (9.5 cm x 14 cm)
6. Card layer 2 inside card Basic White : 3-5/8” x 5-3/8” (9 cm x 13.5 cm)
7. Day at the Farm DSP same as left panel on card front : 1 ½” x 3-5/8” (3.5 cm x 9 cm)
8. Sahara Sand card stock scraps : stamp sentiment then die cut 2 labels
