Today I’m going to show you how to make an envelop treat bag from the humble envelop. With a little modification you can transform it into a gusseted treat bag.

How to transform the envelop to being a treat bag
Metric measurements are in brackets.
Scoring
- Open up the flap with gummy side face up and offer it up to trimmer so that the flap is to the right of the trimmer’s cutting groove.
- Align right edge of flap at ¾” (2 cm) and cut off the gummy part.
- Score the 2 sides and bottom of envelop at ¾” (2 cm) .
- Flip over and repeat to reinforce score lines on both sides.
- Reinforce score lines.
- Decorate as you wish before puffing out the envelop to form a gusseted bag.
