Thank you card with Earthen Textures

Happy Sunday! In my Top Tip Tuesday slot on my YouTube channel, I demonstrated how to create a stay put bow on this card. In the original card, I had masked the Pretty Peacock vase so that the tall Copper Clay vase would give the illusion of being behind it.

Not wanting to waste the card, I up-cycled it. One of the dies intrigued me. It was a palm leaf with score lines on it so I assumed that they could be folded to resemble real palm leaves. I adhered the “valley” folds with glue dots to keep it in position and stamped another vase to lay on top with dimensionals.

There is a die to cut this vase out, but it is smaller than the actual stamped image. Not wanting to compromise the size of the stamped vase, I stamped another and fussy cut this so that the previously stamped one wouldn’t show.

I added some 2023-2025 In color dots to complete the card. There is another die in the set which embosses some texture on the card stock. I ran over it with a blending brush in Copper Clay but it’s hard to see in this photo.
