Sneak Peek Online Exclusive in July

Here’s a sneak peek of a new Online Exclusive coming in July. You won’t find it in any catalogue, as the name suggests, it is available as an online product only and will be available on 6 July 2023.

One of the items in the July Online Exclusive has a One Horse Open Sleigh Suite Collection. Those of you who like to plan ahead and a “Christmas in July” fan, this will be right up your street. Personally, it is still too early for me. As I write this, we are having a heat wave and it doesn’t feel like Christmas at all!

Card base

My card base is half A4 sheet of Lemon Lolly card stock. I used the Basic Border Dies to cut a zig zag edge on the front of the card.

In the Suite Collection, the One Horse Open Sleigh 6″x 6″ (15.2 x 15.2 cm) Designer Series Papers are gorgeous. There are 48 sheets in the pack with 4 each of 12 double sided designs. To “stretch” the paper, I cut the sheet in half so that each measures 3″x 6″. I trimmed it and adhered it to a Misty Moonlight mat layer.

Rabbits

There is a rabbit in the Horse & Sleigh photopolymer stamp set and I used this to stamp and fussy cut 3 rabbits in Smoky Slate ink. I cut a slot in the tree and positioned two of the rabbits through the slot so only their heads would show. The third one, a raised on dimensionals and adhered in front of the trees.

I chose the “Gorgeously Made” Cling stamp set to stamp “hello” on the side of the card because the letters were small enough to fit.

Inside card

I adhered a quarter sheet of Misty Moonlight card stock to the inside of the card. Then I cut a Basic White piece measuring 3 ⅜” x 5 ⅛”  (8.5 cm x 13 cm) to adhere on top. Rather than stamping, I adhered the remnants of the DSP to embellish the inside of the card.

So that’s my sneak peek for today – not a hint of a Christmas flavour to the card at all! The feature stamp is of course a sleigh and the horse pulling the sleigh, but I just couldn’t bring myself to use it in the middle of June!
