An easy card – Playing in the Rain

Here’s an easy card with Playing in the Rain. We have had so much rain recently, it made me think of the Playing in the Rain Stamp set and its coordinating dies. The stamps and dies first appeared in the 5 January to 1 May 2023 mini catalogue and have carried over into our current Annual Catalogue. Sadly, it is no longer available as a bundle.

Partial embossing

The Raindrops embossing folder coordinates with the Playing in the Rain stamps. It is a standard embossing folder so the embossing sandwich is different.

To create your embossing sandwich

1. Start with Base Plate 1
2. Next place first Plate 3 on top of Base plate 1
3. Insert card stock in embossing folder and place on top of the first Plate 3.
4. Place second Plate 3 partially over embossing folder where you want it embossed.
5. Run it through the machine.

Cutting guide

1. Card Base : Balmy Blue 5 ¾” x 8 ¼” (14.5 cm x 21 cm) folded in half
2. First Mat Layer front and inside card : 2 pieces Blueberry Bushel cut at 3 ¾” x 5 ½” (9.5 cm x 14 cm).
3. Second Mat Layer front and inside : 2 pieces Basic White cut at 3 ⅝” x 5 ⅜” (9 cm x 13.5 cm).
