Gift packaging with Ink & Tiled

Today I have gift packaging with the Ink & Tiled stamp set and Tailor Made Tags dies. It’s not often I design a box purely around a 6″x 6″ piece of patterned paper, but I wanted to stretch my supplies and stick to just one sheet being able to decorate the box. So here is the result!

Here are some different views of the box

This is the box without the tags. The ribbon has been threaded through two layers.

To anchor the ribbon, you thread it through the inside top panel before threading it through the lid. Be mindful about the direction your patterned paper is facing. In the last photo, the back and “roof” is facing the same direction, but the piece on the lid is facing the other direction so that it is upright to match the front panel.

Cutting guide Imperial

Box lid section

1. Lost Lagoon card stock cut at 5 ¾” x 9 ¼”.
2. Long side on top score at 2″, 5 ¼”, 7 ¼”.
3. Rotate card stock anti-clockwise quarter turn so that short side is on top.
4. On short side score at 2″ and 5 ¼”.

Front box section

1. Lost Lagoon card stock cut at 5 ¾” x 7 ¼”.
2. Long side score at 2” and 5 ¼”.
3. Rotate card stock anti-clockwise quarter turn so that short side is on top.
4. On short side score at 2” and 5 ¼”

DSP – Inked Botanicals 6″x 6″ (15.2 x 15.2 cm)

You can use any, but I used the Inked Botanicals

1. Front and back main panel : 2 pieces cut 3″ x 3″
2. Back “roof” and lid flap : 2 pieces cut 1 ¾” x 3”.

Additional Card stock

1. Scrap of Lost Lagoon to die cut Tailor Made Tag
2. Scrap of Very Vanilla to die cut Tailor Made Tag

Cutting guide Metric

Box lid section

1. Lost Lagoon card stock cut at 14.5 cm x 23.5 cm.
2. Long side on top score at 5 cm, 13.5 cm, 18.5 cm.
3. Rotate card stock anti-clockwise quarter turn so that short side is on top.
4. On short side score at 5 cm and 13.5 cm.

Front box section

1. Lost Lagoon card stock cut at 14.5 cm x 18.5 cm.
2. Long side score at 5 cm and 13.5 cm.
3. Rotate card stock anti-clockwise quarter turn so that short side is on top.
4. On short side score at 5 cm and 13.5 cm .

DSP – Inked Botanicals 15.2 x 15.2 cm

You can use any, but I used the Inked Botanicals

1. Front and back main panel : 2 pieces cut 7.5 cm x 7.5 cm.
2. Back “roof” and lid flap : 2 pieces cut 4.5 cm x 7.5 cm.
