A spooky card with Pick of the Patch in Week 2 of my 6-week Halloween Countdown Series. In addition to the Pick of the Patch stamp set, I also used the Alphabet a la Mode dies and Exposed Brick 3D embossing folder to make this Halloween card.
The card base is Pumpkin Pie. Before I embossed the Basic Black mat layer, I stamped the Jack O’Lantern face in Versarmark and silver embossed it. Do watch the video to see how I created the faux window. Using this method is so much simpler than trying to use the trimmer to cut the apertures.
I die cut letters from Alphabet a la Mode to spell BOO! in adhesive backed silver foil paper.
Inside the card, I simply stamped the silhouette of the tree in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and the crow. The crow’s eye and beak were coloured in with Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends.
