Easter Bunny and Fluffiest Friend

Easter Bunny and Fluffiest Friend. These were the stamp sets I chose to make today’s Easter card. The bunny featured on this card is from Fluffiest Friends which is an online exclusive. The bunny originally holds a little cupcake.

Unfortunately, I don’t have many Easter stamp sets, so when I looked at the Fluffiest Friend stamp set which is an online exclusive, I had a light bulb moment. See what you think!

With the imminent Last Chance Product list looming, a lot of the Designer Series Papers will be retiring so I’m using it up as quickly as I can! This one is Bee Mine 12″x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) Designer Series Paper and I thought it looked spring-like and Easter-ish.

Altering the bunny

  1. Use a craft knife and cut around the rabbit’s paws to release it from holding the cupcake.
  2. Stamp easter eggs from the Easter Bunny stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colour them with a variety of Stampin’ Blends in Flirty Flamingo, Lemon Lime Twist, Poppy Parade and Balmy Blue.
  3. Fussy cut the eggs, and use one of them adhered with a dimensional on the rabbit’s tummy.
  4. Attach the paws with a little glue.

Other elements

  1. Card base – Basic White Thick 5 ¾” x 8 ¼” (14.5 cm x 21 cm)
  2. Bee Mine DSP – 4 ⅛” x 5 ¾” (10.5 cm x 14.5 cm). Adhere to card front.
  3. Inside card : Basic White 3 ¾” x 5 ½” (9.5 cm x 14 cm)
  4. Fluffiest Dies – die cut the dome with Basic White card stock as a mat layer and adhere to card front.
  5. On scrap of Basic White, stamp bunny in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
  6. Colour bunny with Stampin’ Blends in Smoky Slate and Petal Pink combos. Die cut with Fluffiest Dies. Use craft knife to cut round paws. Adhere toward the bottom of the Basic White dome. Take care not to have any adhesive on the paws yet.
  7. Die cut 3 pieces of grass in Lemon Lime Twist. Do not apply adhesive on the tips, because you need to tuck the eggs behind the grass.
  8. Stamp the eggs and colour them. Reserve one for the bunny to hold as described above in “altering the bunny”.
  9. Lastly stamp the flowers and colour them at the top of the dome then stamp the sentiment on a piece of scrap, cut the flag ends and attach with dimensionals below the floral stamp.
  10. Create your scene as shown in picture.

Inside card

Just some simple stamping at the bottom of the inside mat layer. More colouring but because the images are small, it’s really quick and easy to do.
