Relaxing Waterside Bundle

The Relaxing Waterside Bundle includes stamps and dies perfect for crafting cards, tags, and scrapbook pages that are casual yet refined. The papers which goes with this suite are gorgeous and encapsulates lakeside scenes in pastel shades. Right up my alley!

Waterside Retreat 12″x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) Designer Series Paper (DSP)

Soft, watercolour type images, sun-faded hues depicting laid-back days of a lakeside getaway. Life -vests, oars, buoys and bicycles, each sheet captures a beloved element of lake life. There are also two cut-apart sheets which offer the perfect opportunity to add scenic touches to your handmade cards, scrapbook pages.

These pages make quick, easy cards.

1. I selected the image in the middle of the sheet on the left trimmed to 5 ¾” and 4 ⅛” (14.5 cm x 10.5 cm).
2. From the sheet in the middle, I fussy cut the oar, and a lifebuoy vest.
3. On the sheet on the right, I fussy cut a lifebuoy ring.
4. I adhered the scene directly on to the front of the card base, stamped seagulls in Basic Gray and arranged my cut pieces in the bottom right corner and adhered them as pictured.

Cutting guide

1. Card base : Basic White cut at 5 ¾” x 8 ¼” (14.5 cm x 21 cm) folded in half.
2. Scenic sheet – cut largest pier one and trim to 5 ¾” x 4 ⅛” (14.5 cm x 10.5 cm)
3. Pool Party mat layer for inside of card : 5 ½” x 3 ⅞” (14 cm x 10 cm)
4. Basic White piece for inside of card : 5 ⅜” x 3 ¾” (13.5 cm x 9.5 cm)
5. Fussy cut lifebuoy vest, lifebuoy ring, oar from corresponding DSP sheets.
6. Stamp greeting on scrap of Basic White and fussy cut greeting as pictured.

Assembling card

1. Adhere 5 ¾” x 4 ⅛” (14.5 cm x 10.5 cm) pier scene DSP to card front.
2. Arrange fussy cut pieces in bottom right of card and adhere as shown.
3. Apply wet adhesive to back of trinket and adhere as pictured above.
4. Stamp top right corner with a trio of seagulls in Smoky Slate ink.
5. Apply dimensionals on the back of greeting and adhere as shown.

Inside card

1. Apply adhesive to back of Pool Party mat layer and adhere to inside of card leaving an even border on all 4 sides.
2. Stamp chair in Pool Party and colour in with Light Pool Party Stampin’ Blend.
3. Ink book stamp in Pecan Pie and stamp on a scrap of Basic White and die cut with corres anponding die and adhere on arm of chair as shown.
4. On scrap of Pool Party, stamp Relax and trim then adhere to Basic White layer as pictured.
5. Adhere Basic White layer to Pool Party layer leaving an even border on all 4 sides to finish.
