Happy Father’s Day with BBQ Master

Happy Father’s Day with BBQ Master. BBQ Master is an Online Exclusive released in March 2026. We recently upped sticks and moved from Hampshire (down south) up north of England to West Yorkshire. By English standards, that’s quite a distance. We left SO many things behind. The BBQ, our much loved thatched Pumpkin shaped summer house to name a few.

Long story short, we had to replace stuff, amongst them a BBQ to fit the space (having downsized our garden). During that hot spell, it would’ve been lovely to have a BBQ, but we didn’t have one which prompted our search for a new one. I needed to make a “Happy Father’s Day” card and BBQ Master stamp set was just the ticket. To my dismay, I’d only ordered the stamp set and forgot to order the dies!

Father’s Day card

Because I didn’t have the dies, I did a “workaround” which involved silver embossing the BBQ tongs, fork and spatula and a lot of fussy cutting! I will be getting the coordinating dies in my next order for sure!

Cutting guide

  1. Card base : 5 ¾” x 8 ¼” (14.5 cm x 21 cm) folded in half.
  2. Homemade Sweetness DSP cut at 3 ⅞” x 5 ½” (10 cm x 14 cm)
  3. Stylish Shapes dies : die cut largest square in Blueberry Bushel
  4. Inside card : Basic White layer 3 ⅞” x 5 ½” (10 cm x 14 cm)
  5. Cut a strip of Homemade Sweetness sheet and trim a piece measuring ¾” x 3 ⅞” (2 cm x 10 cm)

Assembling card

  1. Cut Homemade Sweetness checkered pattern at 3 ⅞” x 5 ½”(10 cm x 14 cm) and adhere to card front leaving an even border on all 4 sides.
  2. Die cut largest Stylish Shapes square with Blueberry Bushel cardstock and adhere toward top leaving both sides and top equi-distant.
  3. On scrap of Basic White, stamp BBQ, and tools with Versamark. Black emboss BBQ, and one in Silver. Fussy cut the silver grill only and adhere on top of fussy cut black embossed BBC as shown above.
  4. Silver emboss the tools, and stamp same in Basic Black. Fussy cut the handles only in Basic Black and adhere these to the Silver embossed tools then fussy cut tools and adhere with dimensionals to card front as pictured.
  5. Stamp BBQ mit in Blueberry Bushel ink and the flames in Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie. Fussy cut those too. Also stamp sausages with Pecan Pie ink and. fussy cut.

Stamping the greeting

  1. “Happy Father’s Day” was too long to fit in the square. Simply stamp this and cut and trim as shown. It is easier to glue these at random angles rather than try to have them all perfectly lined.
  2. Lastly add the 2025-2027 In color classic flat pearls.

Inside card

  1. Basic White layer cut at 3 ⅞” x 5 ½” (10 cm x 14 cm)
  2. Cut Homemade Sweetness DSP at ¾” x 3 ⅞” (2 cm x 14 cm). Adhere about ½” (1.5 cm) from bottom edge.
  3. Stamp kebabs with Smoky Slate ink. Then colour in the kebabs with Stampin’ Blends. Highland Heather for onion (I used a color lifter to make this paler), Poppy Parade for tomatoes, Peaceful Pine for green peppers and Crumb Cake for mushrooms.
  4. To finish, stamp greetings in Blueberry Bushel ink.
