Halloween Countdown Series 5 of 6

Halloween Countdown Series 5 of 6. Welcome to the final episode in my Halloween Countdown Series. I’m using the Oh My Fright Bundle once again! I haven’t used the tag die in this set yet, or featured the cats. Did you know that the dies actually cut the cat with the hat and the scary cat from a sheet of the designer series paper?

Simple z-fold card with tag

I actually adhered the DSP tag to a scrap of Basic Grey card stock to strengthen it, but the tag was too big, so I trimmed the edges off and it worked a treat!

Cutting guide

Front of card (z-fold portion folded back)

1. Card base : Basic Gray cut at 5 ¾” x 8 ¼” (14.5 cm x 21 cm). Fold in half, then fold back the front of card in half.
2. Pumpkin Pie layer : 1 ⅞” x 5 ½”(4.8 cm x 14 cm) adhere to z-fold front leaving an even border on all 4 sides.
3. Frightfully Fun DSP : 1 ¾” x 5 ⅜” (4.4 cm x 13.7 cm) adhere on top of Pumpkin Pie layer leaving an even border on all 4 sides.

Tag

1. Adhere 4″ x 6″ portion of DSP with moon in it to Basic Gray card stock then die cut with tag die. Trim off sides to make it narrower.
2. Thread a short length of Black ⅜” (1 cm) iridescent ribbon through hole and tie knot.
3. Apply dimensionals on z-fold panel to adhere tag to it at an angle.
4. Die cut cat with hat and frightened cat with corresponding dies from Oh My Fright dies.
5. Apply dimensionals to the cat with the hat at bottom of tag as pictured.
6. Adhere frightened directly to tag tucked behind cat with hat.
7. Embellish tag with Adhesive-backed bats, ghosts and dots to tag in front of the moon as shown.

Inside card

1. Open z-fold card out and adhere Very Vanilla layer cut at 3 ⅞” x 5 ½” (9.8 cm x 14 cm) to inside of card leaving an even border on all 4 sides.
2. Die cut ghost shadow from Basic Gray card stock and the smaller ghost with Very Vanilla card stock. Adhere Very Vanilla ghost on top of Basic Gray shadow ghost as shown.
3. Stamp “Boo to you” beneath as shown. (I smudged mine, but an easy fix is to stamp it on a scrap of Very Vanilla, trim and glue it on top of the smudged stamp one).
4. Adhere trio of Adhesive-backed bats, ghosts and dots to finish.
