This is a variation on a theme. It looks nondescript from the outside, doesn’t it? The card base is Close to Cocoa, scraps of Chocolate Chip, Bashful Blue, Close to Cocoa and Whisper White to mat with. I used the Nursery Necessity stamp set and photos cut precisely to match grid. It’s at times like these that I wish I was clever enough to capture this on video because the visual aspect of this is so much easier to comprehend.
When you open the card normally, the first picture you see is a picture of my grandson as a baby. By pushing the outer panels toward the centre in a concertina shape, the two middle panels meet. Place your left thumb on the left panel, the right thumb on the right panel and gently pull apart to reveal a surprise.
The surprise is the hidden part which reveals a picture of my grandson as an almost two year old.

Fab card Elaine, love what you have done here. Did something similar at a workshop a while back, think they called it a 'jacobs ladder' card.
Sam x
The Jacob's ladder card cascades down and is secured by ribbon. This card opens out like turning a page in a book. When you first view the card, it opens like normal, but if you push the outer panels together, it forms a "W" shape and by pulling apart the two centre panels, it reveals a hidden message. Thanks for looking. Elaine
